Megan Costigan came to Dot Foods full time in 2013 as a Meeting and Event Planner. Dot Foods, the largest food industry redistributor in North America, is a family-owned and -operated business. Megan is one of the 46 third-generation family members. She and her team plan and execute more than 40 events per year, domestically and internationally, ranging from 10 to 2,800 attendees
In addition to Megan’s work in the meeting and event industry, she has been heavily involved in the work of the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF). Megan worked part-time for TFF as a Program Associate from February 2018 to September 2019. She served as Chair of TFF’s Next Generation Advisory Board (NGAB) (2012-2016), TFF Advisor of NGAB (2018-2019) and Chair of the Leadership Committee (2017-2019). In 2007, she held a one-year seat on the TFF Board. Her nonprofit Junior Board experience includes Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb, GA (2016), Girls on the Run/Chicago (2013), Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition/St. Louis (2014-15) and Quincy Service League (2019).
Megan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2010) in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Master of Nonprofit Management degree from Fontbonne University (2016). During that time, she was accepted into and participated in the Exponent Philanthropy’s Next Gen Fellowship Program.
