On Friday Today, January 20th, the CEO group visited Myers & Myers in Beardstown. We spoke with owner John Myers who spoke to us about bookkeeping and filing taxes for our individual businesses and personal lives.

We asked many good questions about how we should go about taxes and investing if we should continue our business after high school. John expressed how to avoid potential problems we may face if we were to neglect bookkeeping and he really set us up for our own personal finances. We also learned more about what it was like in the life of an accountant and how Myers & Myers is run.

I’m owning a business, you must know how to keep track of your businesses footprint and find an accountant and attorney suited for you. We all learned something today about how to manage our businesses and how to find a plan that will work for each of us.

Thank you, John for taking to time to speak with us and giving our group more insight in the financial aspect of our lives!
